The Exhibition

The University of Wolverhampton Graphic Design Degree Show celebrates three years of creative exploration, skill development, and innovative thinking. Our graduating students showcase diverse practices across branding, editorial, digital, and experimental design.

The 2026 Cohort

This year’s cohort brings together seventeen designers with diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and creative approaches. From sustainable brand identities to experimental editorial layouts, from kinetic typography to user-centered digital experiences, their work showcases the breadth and depth of contemporary graphic design practice.

A poster‑zine created around an assigned Colorplan shade, using colour, tactility, and layout to celebrate the enduring role of paper in contemporary visual communication.

Pigeon Magazine

An 8–16 page lifestyle magazine on creative industries in Wolverhampton and the Black Country, art‑directed and produced in a collaborative team to showcase local practitioners with a cohesive house style.

Agency DRPG

A live brief with creative agency DRPG, documenting an industry designer’s talk and responding to a sensitive communication challenge through considered, non‑judgmental design outcomes.

Olympic Stamp Project

A constrained brief to design a set of four UK postage stamps for the 2026 Winter Olympics, incorporating the Olympic symbol, the King’s head and clear pricing within an original, cohesive visual concept.

Wolverhampton Green Innovation Corridor Branding

A self-directed branding brief to develop a fully realized world—brand, narrative, organisation, products and collateral—derived from a randomly assigned nursery rhyme, with outcomes clearly grounded in a defined area of design practice and demonstrably informed by the source text.

Negotiated Project

A self‑directed design module structured around approximately 50 hours of practice‑led work, aligning competition, client or self‑initiated briefs with a visual thesis to deepen specialist expertise and portfolio‑ready outcomes.

Other Projects

Project 1: Post Graduate Guide Competition
Designed the front and back cover for the University of Wolverhampton’s 2026–2027 Postgraduate Guide. The project focused on creating a visually engaging and inclusive design that reflects the university’s identity while appealing to a broad audience of prospective students, including graduates, mature learners, and professionals seeking career development.

Project 2: Advocacy in Action
A collaborative campaign project developed with Sociology students, focusing on social issues and public engagement. I designed a range of event-based deliverables, including posters, social media assets, and digital content, creating a cohesive visual identity to effectively communicate and promote the campaign across multiple platforms.

Project 3: Projection
Developed a projection-based design responding to a social message within an urban environment. The project explored the relationship between location and communication, using site-specific imagery and bold, high-contrast visuals to highlight underrepresented voices and create impactful public moments.
